Opening Day!
I know a lot of people that don’t care for sports all that much. I don’t understand that. I mean Opening Day is one of the best days of the year! Everybody (well, ok not the Nationals but everyone else) has some measure of true blue hope. The tired old rant about how teams start the season with no chance is long dead. Today we’ll learn a little something about Carl Pavano. In fact as I’m writing this he should be starting up. Will he make it? Will he fold? How badly will the Yankees miss Bernie? What kind of numbers can Bobby Abreau put up in a full season in the
Bronx ? That’s what makes baseball so beautiful. You can hope, you can see men labor against adversity and overcome or be overcome. In the watching you can learn a little about yourself. Bring on Opening Day! Let the Games Begin! Play Ball!
Just do me a favor and keep writing such trcehnant analyses, OK?
